Cremation Services
We offer affordable services that help celebrate the life of your loved one, while giving you several options for a public gathering, and a final resting place. We believe strongly in helping families choose the right service options to memorialize their loved one.
A graveside service is held at the cemetery. We have a tent, chairs, artificial grass, speaker podium, bottled water, tables and a PA system (microphone and speaker) available. When the memorial service is at the funeral home chapel or a church, we will typically go in procession to the cemetery, where a committal service is held.
Direct Cremation Service - $1,570
Which includes the local transfer of remains to the funeral home, staff services, which include securing of the necessary authorizations, basic local transportation (30 miles), to the funeral home, an alternative container for cremation (two piece unlined minimum cardboard container), obtaining certified copies of the death certificate, and the return of cremated remains to the funeral home.
In addition, there is the crematory fee (avg $450), death certificate copies (NY $10 ea., (avg..)/PA $20 ea.).Urns/Urn Vaults are optional and additional.
Simplicity Cremations ' services are very minimal. We do not offer to arrange any type of service, disposition, cremated remains storage or obituary placement; this is why we can keep our charges to a minimum.
